Throat Sounds Like Pop Rocks - I have been experiencing a weird fizzing/popping sensation in the back of my throat (not eating at the time). I was doing some neck massages a few days ago and then afterwards whenever i swallow, i feel a clicking/popping sensation and sound when my larynx moves up upon. Weird cracking sound behind nose and throat. Sounds like pop rocks. Have had it for awhile. The pop rock sensation and sound was finally diagnosed as palatal myoclonus. Unfortunately, palatal myoclonus is a symptom and not a disease. Try the โpop rocksโ trick; Some people find relief by putting their tongue on the roof of their mouth and making a โpopโ sound. Do this a few times and see if it helps. I have been experiencing a weird fizzing/popping sensation in the back of my throat (not eating at the time). When i talk it sounds like there is fluid over my voice box, my words come out gurgled, and i have to constantly clear my throat. For awhile, not sure when or why, it seemed okay but. There is a clicking in my throat when i swallow. Not the pressure in my ears but actually in my throat on the left side.
